Applications / Purposes:
Cast steel gate valves are suitable for operating conditions with ANSI Class 150 to 2500 and working temperatures <180°C (Note: Please double-check if 600°C was intended, as standard text states <180°C). They are compatible with various media such as water, oil, and steam. Actuation options include manual, gear, electric, and pneumatic operations. These valves are widely used in the following fields:
Oil and Gas Industry: Used in oil and gas transmission pipelines and oil/gas wellhead control. Their high-pressure resistance meets the stringent requirements of long-distance pipelines, while their reliable sealing effectively prevents the leakage of flammable and explosive media like natural gas, ensuring safe transportation.
Chemical Industry: Applied in pipelines for various chemical raw materials and corrosive media. The cast steel material, combined with special linings or coatings, resists chemical erosion, achieving reliable isolation of media at the inlet and outlet pipelines of reactors and storage tanks.
Power Industry: Heavily utilized in high-temperature, high-pressure steam systems and cooling water systems within thermal power plants. They adapt to the operating conditions of boilers, steam turbines, and other equipment to ensure stable system operation.
Water Supply, Drainage & Environmental Protection: Installed in municipal water supply pipelines and wastewater treatment plants. Large-scale cast steel gate valves provide on-off control of water flow. The flat-bottom design prevents debris accumulation to ensure smooth fluid flow, and the low flow resistance helps reduce energy consumption.
Metallurgical & General Industries: Employed in industrial gas and high-temperature media transmission pipelines in steel mills to withstand harsh operating conditions. They are also suitable for general industrial pipelines in shipbuilding, textiles, pharmaceuticals, and other industries, serving as core shut-off devices.
